Rad hose for a 64 w/ 460 and an FE rad?

I need a rad hose, the lower, for a 460 connecting to a FE rad. As far as I can tell, the water pump is 2" and the rad is 1.75" outlet. Will a stock 390 hose work? What has everyone done? Thanks.

Not that far along on the one I'm doing. Why not buy one and try it. If it won't work take it back. Look in a Gates Rad. hose and belt buyers guide book and see what will work. It has pictures and measurements.

Simply bend a coat hanger to the shape you need and take that to napa and start going through hoses till you find one that will fit. I found mine this way and ended up using a section of a bigger hose which I have no clue what it was for.

We did, still no dice, but close. I have ordered one for an FE engine so we'll see.
