Windshield water deflector question

Simply enough, where can I get one or do they even exist? Part number is C4AB-6203260. It fits at the bottom under the outer side mouldings around the w/shield and is called a water deflector. We found this in the body assembly manual.

Windshield water deflector question

Take a look at Dennis Carpenters catalog on page 60

http://www.dennis-carpenter.com/pdf/60-64galaxie.pdf

Is it shown there? Is it rubber or metal or do you know?

No, not shown. It looks like a rubber piece that fits underneath the outer trim at the bottom corner of the windshield. I'm sure the windshield rubber is good enough but we saw this in the diagram and was like WTF is that now?

Windshield water deflector question

The only thing I can think of that's rubber and a water deflector is the peice of rubber that fits right under the rear lip of the hood in front of the cowl that routes the water off to the sides rather than down your firewall. I've never seen any other rubber at the bottom of the windsheild other than the gasket.
I was just looking in my manual and it shows a garnish moulding weather strip that is on each end of the windshield under the edge of the ss. In my book it appears to be for convertible only. I went and looked at my windshield and there is a wedge of rubber that is on both ends about 1/3 of the way under the trim. Almost looks like it could be wedge shaped with the narro part rounded. Maybe this is what you see?
My book doesn't show any part numbers though. All I have is the shop manual.

Here's a scan from the manual. Is this what you are seeing?
This first link is what I thought you might be talking about at first but maybe not. #3.

Windshield water deflector question

Right church, wrong pue with the diagrams. The top one on the lower passenger side of the w/shield where it says sealer is about where it would go. It is in the body assembly green book, #7 on the page for body style 63 and another but same almost diagram. If you have this book, you'll see it, but like Greg said, don't worry about not having it, so I said whew, good then! Thanks for the info though, hard to find, small detail stuff can try my patience, happy times wityh this deal though.

I can't remember which vendor it was now but they had these little rain deflector thingys made of rubber for a convertible top but I couldn't figure out where they would go. I had them fax me a diagram showing the location. They said mine might of rotted away. I finally found where they went and I only had half of one left out of the two. They were also a lot smaller than I thought they were. About 4 inches long. Sometimes even with pictures it's difficult to figure these things out.
