Which is long enough, 24 or 36 inch for 65 or other Galaxie? Thanks

I got the 36 for my 64, i cant remember how much i cut it down though

Thank's I just found my original broken cable and it is about 23& 7/8ths inches long, so I just ordered the 36 inch just to be sure.

i used the 24" on my 64 galaxie and still had to cut about a inch so i'd say the 24"
