Power Windows and Power Bench Seat

Looking to find a complete power window setup for my 64 2 door. Also would like to put a power seat track in it, its a bench seat. Anybody have anything or know of any parts cars that have these?

Thumbs up Re: Power Windows and Power Bench Seat

After years of searching for motors,or a good place to have them rebuilt for my 64 Galaxie 500, I found a place that had what I needed. It's called Nu-Relics. Their kits are complete with wiring, and a relay so you can use the stock switches! Last fall I put them in my front doors, [A bolt in!] using stock holes.I only had to drill 1 hole that was not oppened at the assembly line at Ford. Went in rather easy, but I did have to remove the window stop. They work great so far! I'm going to do the back this spring. They go for around $200 a window, But that is with motors, regulators, relay, and wire harnesses. They also come with a lifetime warranty, and are very well made! I wouldn't normally talk up a product, but after searching so long, and a well made kit like these are,I am glad I replaced my stock power window guts.Go to Nu-Relics.com or call 336-699-8949

Thanks for the info, do you still have the original harness and motors that you took out?

It only came with wiring from the motor to the original wiring in the body. But hooking it up is very easy. I also have the old motors and regulators from the front doors so far, if it would only stop with this winter stuff!!

Just to clear up what I might see as a misunderstanding-one person wishes to convert a non-power over, whereas the other replaced an already existing setup with new components-not the same thing

Re: Power Windows and Power Bench Seat

Ok,I thought that he was looking to upgrade or replace. I figured for me,if I changed the motors, then you have to change the plastic gears. Then what if somthing else fails! This way I would not have to keep trying to keep the old tech working and hope nothing would fail at the wrong time[like if it rained and the windows wernt working when really needed!!] So I just changed it all with new tech, no worries

It comes with everything but the harness that runs thru the body to the main wiring. Call their number or go to the website. When I called they told me just what I needed, and were very helpfull!
