OK, I can guess from all the reading I just did that the air inlet duct from the cowl was blocked off? Sounds weird...
It wasn't blocked off, it just didn't have the Heater Air Inlet Duct Connector and Plate in place. The air still came it. It just didn't go through the H/D Unit and out the bottom louvered outlet.

If the Heater Core doesn't get hot enough to hurt foam rubber, it won't hurt styrofoam insulation either.

All my foam is non-existant in mine. Figured one day I might replace it. I did have to add another item to the heater core heat hurting foam......or water bed mattresses. Although it isn't in contact it's in the general area. lol

I should of while i had it all out uses some carpet padding or something to make some gaskets. Didn't even think about it.

Hey mon Deb,
I've been trying to figure out a way to make it so that Gary can answer my questions one at a time.

Maybe have a multiple-choice type thing where all he has to do is just check a box, or maybe have a "pre-quoted" format where the questions are already separated, with a: "Your Reply Goes Here" type space between the individual questions.

The whole thing would be solved if Gary would just hit the "Quote Button", and then separate the questions by putting bracket "quote" bracket at the beginning, and a bracket "/" "quote" bracket at the end, and then answer the question. But he's got this "aversion" thing about the "Quote Button".

I mean, he once told me that the reason that they don't need no steenkin' "Quote Button" was because: "we is all sharp enough to remember everything without it", but the reason that more than one question per post can't be answered is because he can't remember all the questions and he isn't going to go through the post more than once.

Now the problem that I'm having is that when I need more than one answer, and I can only get one answer per post, is that I can never get past the one that says: "Hey Gary, you doing alright this morning?"

You know who I miss? Mr. Kultulz!

JC, You mean like "press one for English"?

If I do all that much quoting I get lost and create a mess then have to go back and edit. For Mr. Zipzapper it would be too time consuming I'm sure. He's kinda like that rabbit that's always late you know.

Hey mon Deb,
I've decided (as you've probably noticed) to change it to "Press UNO for English!" Can you recognize an "irony" when you see one?

Aha! The TRVTH finally comes out!

When I first got here, I was told that the REAL reason that everyone "hated" the quote button usage was that EVERYONE was REALLY "sharp" and didn't NEED to have the quote button used because EVERYONE could remember EVERYTHING without it!

And NOW, Gary says that he can answer questions "individually", but not enmasse' and you now say that you "...get lost and create a mess".

Now, I'm not being at all critical here. I love all youse guys no matter how you prefer doing the "discussion" thing, and for whatever reason you prefer to do it that way. Heck, I still like Mr.DH. You all are ALL RIGHT with ME!

Anyway, I've not had much to report recently, but things are starting to pick up again.

As you might or might not recall, I'm in the "waiting" mode for the parts from Greg Donahue to arrive.

From what his catalog says, he ships the same day as he receives the order, and his catalog shows that it takes three "working" days for order to get from Floral City, Florida to Onalaska, Texas.

Now, the Post Office charged me $17.00 for Priority Delivery on Tuesday, and said it would hit GD's place on Thursday. So, if he shipped on Thursday, then Friday would be Day One, Monday would be Day Two, Tuesday would be Day Three. But nothing arrived yesterday.

SO if he shipped on Friday, then Monday would be Day One, Tuesday would be Day Two, Wednesday (today) would be Day Three. And UPS doesn't get here till after 4:00 p.m., so I'm in GREAT anticipation.

Now there MIGHT be another factor involved. He MIGHT not ship until the USPS Money Order clears (and I don't know how long THAT takes). And if that is the case, then who knows WHEN the stuff will arrive?

BUT it really doesn't matter. I'm now in another project mode, and cooking right along.

However, I'm NOT going to hi-jack my own thread to report on that "Project". Rather, I'm going to start a NEW thread soon, and will fill you all in on what it's about then.

BTW, there's something REALLY strange going on over at the 332-428 FE Forum...

There's a guy who posts under the name of FElony who's taking a lot of flack from some of the posters about something, and I don't exactly know WHAT, because as I was reading the thread, all of a sudden, it stopped loading, and I haven't been able to get it to come up since.

There's a guy who posts under the name of Hawkrod who was telling FElony that the 332-428 FE Forum was NOT a democracy, and that whomever it is that "owns" the the 332-428 FE Forum had a RIGHT to do whatever he wants to do without having to explain or be held to any kind of accountability.

And after reading THAT, I couldn't get any more posts to load. And it was just starting to get interesting.

Anyway, hope you all are doing well. I'm cookin' right along here, and things are happening in a most sumptuous manner.

Press UNO for English!
