I don't know that for a fact but seems logical to me.

Well, i dont realy know how far one should take this, but i am realy afraid of rust. Im restoring my car and i will probably not drive it to much on rainy days and the car will be treated nice. So i should just put the things in and forgett about it.
But still, there is this litle thing. You all know what i mean.... Just the basic knowledge, that YOU know that the thing could rust someday, will make you feel bad inside. Its an obsessive thought that you cant escape. And i think almost everyone who is into restoration knows how it feels. Its like the "mechanic disorder" : Dont throw anything you might need, in one day, or 25 years.
I'll settle for putting some silicone in there, and i will try not to think to much about it.
