Re: parting out 68 Galaxie 500 Convertible

PM sent Joe.

Let me know if you don't get it for some reason. Someone told me they were having a problem sending me a PM because of the way I have the account set up with FM, but I've gone in anbd don't see why there would be any problems.

Thanks-Tim

Kenoshaki: I have the valve you wanted off the car, I did have to cut two lines though cause the flare nuts are beat. Hows bout 10 bucks plus postage? That will make up for the swearing and one pinched finger lol

That would be great! I'll send you a postal money order with the total, unless you can take paypal.
PM your address. Thanks again!

Re: parting out 68 Galaxie 500 Convertible

Fabman and Timray: I sent out pm's to you both but I guess you guys didnt get them. Fabman, I think the cross member on my Galaxie is different cause it a convertible, the third link connects to a cross member on the right side via trailing arm and goes to the left side frame rail, plus it behind the rear axle not in front of. My LTD has the setup I believe you need, but I need it too!! Timray: Your parts are on the way, it was 9.19 total (1 envelope, shipping 1st class and insurance) Please send me check or money order to the address I put on the envelope
Thanks

Thumbs up Re: parting out 68 Galaxie 500 Convertible

Joe,the link you are referring to is the pan-hard bar.It is used to locate the rear end in the car.The 3RD LINK is on top of the rear end housing on the right side and goes forward to the upper cross member.Like the one pictured here.
