67 Galaxie exhaust headers?

hi there, i'm a new owner of 1967 Galaxie 500 fastback, hence a new member of this forum. I was wondering if anyone had tips for changing the exhaust headers on the 289ci/auto transmission because mine are rusted pretty bad and probably aren't keeping any heat in at all. I don't really want to put in headers from a 5.0L because they seem restrictive, and I'm having a hell of a time finding headers that will actually fit lol. Besides it's a great sounding car and I don't want to sacrifice that. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

I think these may work. They fit the 67 fairlane and other mid size/full size fords for 1967. Click on the link and then click on applications to see the cars they fit. As for getting your old ones off, I got lucky with mine, they unbolted perfectly. Somebody might have some good tricks to get them old bolts off without breaking them off.
