Try this, Crites Restoration Products and you'll be a happy camper. They run around 3 hundy, or there are others that aren't as big, tri-y's, block hugger's but can't think off hand of the names, someone wanna field this further......

Re: 64 Galaxie

You can find some great deals on headers..... Like anything you get what you pay for. I had a set of Kooks that I just sold for $650. They were very nice. The only reason I am not using them is have some Cast 427 cogs I used......

I have learned from my Mustang that not all headers are created equal. I have had some garbage and some nice ones. If you have the cash, throw it into the exhaust, you wont be disapointed!
I dont know if BBK makes anything for our Galaxies but they are affordable and the quality isnt bad. I have ran Flowmaster, Mac, Hooker, SLP, and Magnaflow exhaust. Out of all of them, I like the Magnaflow the best. My 64 breaths through 2.5" Magnapacks. My 60 breaths through 2.25" Flowmasters.

As far as the X member, you can whip somehting up with a torch and welder. Im not sure of the measurements.

Re: 64 Galaxie

FPA (Ford Powertrain Applications) makes an awesome set of headers for the FE. C-6 xmember kit for the 64' can be purchased at Crites for around $70.00. Nothing really special about it but I did need to do some mods with a saws-all and a welder to get the pan to fit. Otherwise, I was able to use stock driveline and yoke.
