Overall, I am happy that the problem was solved, but alot of time and effort had to come out of me and not only was I not offered any kind of incentives from DC on the new part, but I had to pay for shipping of the bad part to go back to them. Ron emailed me recently and apologized for that, telling me to contact him with my next purchase to fix me up in some way then. MAC'S was on the ball when they automatically refunded me ALL shipping back and forth, (thier policy for a defective part) and sent me an email when the refund was processed. I learned alot from this experience. Now on to the next thing.....

Said many times before - "As beautiful as they are, '65 Galaxies are some trecherous little Beasties", gotta lov'em.
I bought one of the first Sender units from Dennis Carpenter, about 4 - 5 years ago. They were made out of stainless steel, were only available in 5/16th diameter tubing, which is way too small to feed the squirrel running in the cage under my hood

, I ended up sending it back for many of the same reasons you found. My original was a 3/8ths tube. I finally took the time to clean and re-furbish it, now I wished I had gone with having the tank modified, install a 1/2in instead. But I never thought it was necessary.
