OPtions from Other Years swap over?

anyone know if options like(tilt, power windows, power seat etc) will swap from 69-70 lincolns, into a 71 Galaxie? ANyone have wiring diagrams for these years?

Or how about 69-70 thunderbird parts swapping over to 71 gal?

I was told at one time that they won't (steering colume) but I don't know that to be 100% true.

Can they be installed, yes, is it a direct swap, probably not. As far as the column you can probably do it but you will need to "modify" things to get it to fit properly. I installed a 66 Mustang steering column ion my 62 Galaxie and it took a little modification to get it to work. I have also seen modern fox, body columns used in classic Mustangs, and aging took modifications. As far as wiring in electrical what you need to do is get a wiring diagram for your car and a wiring diagram for the parts car, then compare and draw up a new diagram for your modification. There again thats what I did when I installed the Mustang column in my Galaxie to hook up the turn signal switch and horn, and that is what I did when I figured out how to install cruse control from a Granada in my 62. (have it figured out but not installed yet)
