Hey ShotRod64 I got those measurements for you

but you will need to come to GalaxieForum to get them.

Just kidding
Ok here they are. all these measurements were taken on skinned seats so the pads will probably be a bit bigger
seat back
21" tall
19" wide
4" thick
seat bottom
21" at the widest
19" at the narrowest
21.5" deep
3.5" to 5.5" thick
so for my own education let me know how these pads compare to what you are looking for
Let me know if you need any thing else, I am happy to help!!!!!

Thanks Daze, now i just need to measure mine. Even though they are probably smaller curiousity has a grip on me and my enquiring mind so I gotta know.

I'll let you know the measurements! Hard to say how accurate mine will even be with the foam obliterated by time and crumbling out the bottom of the seats! LOL

Re: Hey ShotRod64 I got those measurements for you

Ok here goes
seat back
21" tall
19" wide
3"? thick

It's hard for me to determine thickness because my seats are so worn and mashed. But I'd say about 3" or so and the center area where the tuck and roll is, is probably only about an inch guessing from what i see inside them through the holes in the middle to the outside edges of the center section.

seat bottom
21" at the widest
19" at the narrowest
21.5" -22" deep the passenger is deeper than the driver side so roughly in the same area as the mustang.
3" Same as above statement.

So looks like they are basically the same size. The only main difference is the shape of the foam. I think the '65 or 64.5 stang has the same 4"approx bolster around the edges but not positive. Trying to remember what my sister's car had. Some only have the "bolster" on each side. Too bad we didn't know someone with the foam for both gal and stang to put next to each other. I'm sure the dealers of this stuff wouldn't want to do it.

Re: Hey ShotRod64 I got those measurements for you

I would say you are good to go!!! Those measurements are to close to not be the same part. I don't think ford would have retooled for something so completely close. Got any pictures of your seats??? The mustang does have the 4" bolster on the side and front edges of the bottom. Any thing else that is different should be modifiable. When I put the Subaru seats in my Galaxie I had to rework the original bottom pad on the drivers seat. Wasn’t going to pay $250.00 for just the bottom foam. Any way I was told by an upholstery shop to use contact cement and new foam to fix it. Worked really well and I added more padding to the top of the foam to bring the pad back to life. I am sure it would not take much to modify a Mustang pad to make it fit if they are different. Little trim here a little extra added on there. See what I am saying???

Hey Deb, I bit the bullet and bought the 350 dollar seat cushions. Do you want those measurements?
