New Holly Street Avenger

I recently sold a vintage Webb 614 instrument amplifier made for the pedal steel guitar with the idea if buying a set of wheels and some MT slicks. I decided to instead for my birthday July 29th to get a #0-80870 Holley Street Avenger 870 CFM with electric choke from Summit Racing . I removed the Edelbrock 1407 750 CFM yesterday and replaced it with my new Holley. I cant tell you how much better the Holley pulls. It is a beautiful addition to my Galaxie and when the secondaries kick in it is like adding another gear, wow what a sensation. I am not used to it yet but will put some miles on it this week end. How many of you guys and gals are running Holley's and what size or model do you run? Thanks for listening,

I was using a list 3310 750 vac sec, but now have gone back to a list 1850 600 vac sec, on my 460.
The 600 has a lot more throttle response.

I have a friend that suggested the 3310 to me, but I had called Holley and spoke with a rep or salesman who took all the info on my car and engine specs and he was the onw who said the 870 Street Avenger would be right for my car. It beats out my Edelbrock for performance. I haven't been able to run it enough to evaluate other aspects of it yet. Maybe this week end I can put some miles on it.
