Need a knob, anyone have an extra they want to sell?

Thanks Ragtop! I found one knob from a light switch and dad was able to remove the rod from it. I'd like to make two keys like this, one for each of my cars so I am still needing one more.

You know who has these things brand new is MAC's and National Parts Depot, look in the Mustang catalog. Guaranteed there in there and would fit. I started looking at my originals but they are in good enough shape. I have spares but they are pitted.

I checked the easiest place to look and not there so will have to look at the more difficult place in the morning. I know I have one vent cable just not sure which one.

I stopped by my brother-in-laws shop on the way home from the muffler shop and made a knob key for the vert. Just need one more for the hardtop. I am pretty happy with how it turned out. Just found out the 50 series Flowmaster will not fit under the car. Only muffler they stock is the super 44. Way too noisy. Gonna have to add resonators.

I would say the 44's are loud exactly like the 40's, but a different brand? Magnaflow 14" might be a good alternative, Flowmasters are loud (which I like). My Spintech's are small but damn noisey. Dynomax is another mild muffler, turbo instead of ultra-flo I think.

Oh sorry I was not more specific, I want to see pictures of this modified knob with a key in it that gbeeler said he already made.

I have no pictures yet of the knob key. I will try to get one tonight. I have the key with me but the car is still at the muffler shop.

Super 44's are a Flowmaster muffler. If you go to the Flowmaster website and check out their products the Super 44 is the first and loudest listed. They list from loud to quiet. I told the muffler shop last night that they better find some resonators or I wouldn't be excepting the car until they do. Just too much noise for an open cockpit. Nobody in this town has Dynomax or Magnaflows in stock so I would have to wait...some more. I can not wait any longer!!!!! I want to DRIVE. Or more accurately, SHRED THE TIRES!
