Score! 428

A friend of mine who tows into the U pull its called me yesterday and said there is a Galaxie coming in tomorrow. I said what year and he said 67. I said it was no good to me unless it has a 390 in it. He said it did not it had 428! So first thing this morning I went to you pull it and pulled a 90K 428 and c6! Car has nice interior but body broke in half when we removed engine.

Blue Island IL U Pull It. It is really rusty. When I cut the exhuast pipe the car almost broke in half. Glass is good and interior looked nice. No sheet metal. Hood and hinges were garbage.

XLnt !!

I missed deal on a T bird 390 a while back. My Merc has a tired 352 swapped in it so I'd like to get an original Z code motor for it.

Since FE isn't around, I'll give ya 50 bucks for the 428 and C6, but you must pay the freight costs to get it to me.

Re: Score! 428

It is funny you say lower. When I bought it at a swap meet two years ago it was so low I could not drive in in my shop. It had no inner fenders. It had what looked like brand new rear springs and the fronts were cut 2 coils. The rears had 3 inch lowering blocks on them. I swapped the 3 in blocks for 1 inch blocks and bought new coils for the front from NAPA and cut one coil off each one. If I were to do it again I probably would have only cut 3/4 off the front coils. I plan to drive it a lot next year and tires run a little when backing and turning.
