65 galaxie drum to disc coversion question

Using the spindles off a 79 Cougar, and tie rod ends from a 70 LTD. I have measured the positon of the tie rod end assembled with a stock spindle. Will the position in the adjusting sleeve be the same using the 79 Cougar spindle? I plan on getting it close, then taking it to a garage to be put on an alignment machine, to get it right. What alignment adjustments are on the 65 anyway?

It will be very close. You could always measure from center to center on the tires and adjust if necessary. The alignment shop will adjust caster, camber and toe as needed. This might help understand. Wheel Alignment A Short Course
