Breath Deeply...exhausted on my 63.5

Exhaust installed on my 63.5. Got the car back yesterday, and this is an industrial strength install! 2 1/2 inch to the 3-chamber Flowmasters, 2 1/4 the rest of the way. Still don't know how it sounds because I haven't had time to get it running.

Where's the "H" pipe, you ask........oops.........they "forgot." Don't know what I'll do there, but for the moment just basking in the glory of getting this far!

I'd be taking it straight back....but that's just me.

Must be the week for exhausts. I just installed a Pypes 2.5" X-pipe on my 68 this weekend.

I get that. I'm miffed, but just trying not to space out over it...trying to enjoy the moment. It's the old story about really nice guys, and doing a wonderful job on 95% of the work. It's just that anoying 5%.........

Looks good. Did you have a local shop in Escondido do the work?

Can you post pictures of the PYPES system? I'm thinking of doing the same as your's but are curious of clearance.

X OR H pipes will make minimal gains according to many. Everyone here said it's not a big deal, actually makes it louder without. New cars seem to make a bigger deal. Looks good though, really good.

I was told by Pypes that they will no longer be making 63 exhaust even though it is listed on their website.

I have long headers which terminate into 3 1/2 collectors so they hang low as it is.....the pypes kit doesn't go any lower than the headers (naturally)....then the muffler end is at the stock location and level. At work right now so can't do the pics at the moment.

Re: Breath Deeply...exhausted on my 63.5

Mine is still stock and I guess because of the frame on a convertible they have no X or H so you should be fine.

Looks great under there!
