Replacing Freon

Anyone try Duracool or HC-12a? Seems like it would be worth a shot:

Re: Replacing Freon

I used Duracool in my 1990 Daihatsu Rocky it had a slow leak and had to be topped every 2 years this way I could do it myself. I also put it in a 1992 Cavalier, it worked well in both cases. I bought it off the internet, I drained both systems when we quit driving them.
