Side emblems. Galaxie conv. 500

Does anybody knows where in both front fenders, the red and blue slanted 390 logo goes ? Are they glued or bolted in ?

I have a 64 Galaxie 500 convertible but I can't help you as mine is a 6 cly and doesn't have any emblems. I think Deb has the XL model!

Has to be a 66 or 67 as a '64 doesn't have red and blue emblems that I know of. I think he's talking those hash marks or is that one rectangle with 390 across the middle? How ever those new fangled galaxie emblems are made up.

It's a '67, went huntin wabbit and found it.

Shot..thanks for the help, I know they make'em, I think Dearborn..or whatever, but I really don't know where exactly they go in both front fenders...Is there a specific distance from A to B ?
and Shot is correct they are slanted with the 390 across at the bottom, 64 and 63 I believed carries an spreaded eagle with the 390 in the middle.

Hopefully someone here that has a '67 can do some measurements for ya.

Yep, sorry didnt put the red and blue clue together.

On my car they measure 11 1/2" from the bottom of the zero (390) to the door jamb and 11 1/2" from the zero to the bottom of the fender. The emblem leans forward. I haven't taken mine off, but I think they glue on because I can see 3 little pins on the inside of the fender with no retainers of any kind. The pin holes are drilled level, which gives the emblem the forward tilt. You will see what I mean when you get the new emblems, I see them on ebay from time to time. Mine don't have any blue, only red and black. Dearborn has them for $80.
