64 XL in Finland

Here is a little writeup out of the Rock Auto Newsletter about a 64 XL in Finland.





1964 Ford Galaxie XL 500
This is my 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Convertible that was imported from Los Angeles in the early 1990's. I like RockAuto and have purchased many parts chiefly because of the way parts are thoroughly and easily catalogued by your website. Delivery is very fast and usually takes less than a week to arrive here in Finland. RockAuto prices are great and you can always count on getting the correct parts.
So far I have bought from RockAuto:
Starter, Flexplate, Distributor, Gaskets, Spark Plugs, Sparkplug Wires, Fuel Tank Cap, Fuel Pump, Power Steering Hoses, Headlight Switch, Headlight Dimmer Connectors, Headlamp Sockets, Coolant Hoses, Thermostat, Speedometer Cable, Instrument Cluster Voltage Regulator.
Here in Finland most people obviously drive European and Japanese cars, but there is a growing American car culture who find most of the Opels and Toyotas driven here small and boring! American cars are bigger, more stylish, and much more comfortable! I also have a 1999 Cadillac STS (my daily driver), and a 1994 Camaro Z/28 Convertible.

Is that Mika's car? He has bought a lot of stuff from Rock Auto also and is in Finland not to mention a yellow ragtop.

Duh it is Mika, just saw his name at the bottom. LOL
