$275,000 Factory lightweight

There is a 64 Factory lightweight on ebay....9 bids so far up to 68,000!!! description says it apraised for $275,000!!!!!!!!!! That would be nice to have...a true 64 race car

And throughout the whole description, they don't even know how to spell Galaxie!

Did ford reverse the rear shackles at the factory or did the use other springs?
Sort of looks like back yard stuff.

They never did that at the factory. They used different rates of springs to lift the rear rather than reversing the shackles.

Here's a '62 that someone has done the same thing to........ one spring under the hanger, one spring over the hanger. Seriously?? Get it right the first time or don't bother.

I thought the inner headlights were used for the ducts to the carbs.

nice looking 62, but those valve covers are just terrible on that car. I also don't care for the fact that they've blacked out the whole underside of the car.
I would have looked a little longer but I got dizzy looking at the auction the way he posted those pictures... wow.
oh, for a positive, I think the interior is great!

They did on '63s. notice that parts of teh grill are missing to accomodate the
air flow to the carbs.
