Will these trans lines work for my 66?

Yanked my motor and tranny for rebuild and managed to magle one of the transmission oil lines. I found these on a mustang site, will they work on my 289/FMX Galaxie?

Thanks in advance.

NOT FOUND... Bad like maybe?

But if you can make a tranny line fit it will work... If you can't make it fit is will not work... Simple as that I guess.

Line pressures can get a bit high sometimes, but that don't mean a whole lot.

You're likely just as well off if you cut a section out and use a rubber tranny line....

Re: Will these trans lines work for my 66?

Remember... You're going to end up paying $30 dollar OVERSIZE fees on shipping... Why not buy tubing from autozone for $5 and $8 bucks per length and use a pair of couplers???

You'll save some money...

Indeed. You could buy a good tubing bender, a double flaring kit, and enough line to replumb your entire car for the same $$$ as price + shipping on a pre-bent line.

Don,

Thanks for that link, I need to replace those on mine as well. I think I had that link before, but its on my now non-working desktop that is low on the priority list for fixing right now.

Re: Will these trans lines work for my 66?

I priced brake lines from Inline tube and it was going to be $135 after shipping. I got the same lines from Dearborn for $75 shipped. Have you checked Dearborn Classics?

Re: Will these trans lines work for my 66?

Like I said... Pre made sucks on the pocket book. A 60" piece of 3/8" line at a parts store is only $6.99!!!!!

Buy two of those, then bend to your preferred positioning, then buy TWO pieces of whatever length will complete the routing for $4 BUCKS each (likely 18" or 20" pieces) along with two female to female couplers and be DONE with it...

Are you schittiing me that they want $135 bucks for a silly tranny line that will never see more than about 80 PSI???
