Hey Mr. RNRR,
I knew that. Back in 1986, I did a rebuild of the Brakes, and the guys at the shop where I did it recommended the Silicone Brake Fluid, so they flushed the system and we put it in.

May want to stick with the Dot 3 or 4 unless the system was designed for the Dot 5. The Dot 5 actually has a lower boiling point then the 3 or 4, but it also doesn't attrack water/moisture like the 3 and 4 do.

As far as I'm concerned, putting in the Silicone Brake Fluid was a mistake.
