C-6 Shift Kit which one are you using?

So I have a little extra cash this payday and looking to put in a shift kit in my 66, I was just wondering what brand you all are running and how easy it was to install. I am currently looking at the TCE 360000 Trans-Scat. from summit.
Thanks.

Re: C-6 Shift Kit which one are you using?

I'm using the same kit and am very happy with it. I'm using the towing/firm calibration, not the full on competition shift style and its a nice clean crisp shift. The wifey hates the neck-snapper competition shifts, otherwise I would have used that instead. Installation is pretty easy, have to drop the pan and the shift manifold. Instructions are very good. I'd replace the pan with one that has a drain plug in it if you dont have one already. Now would be the time.

modified my own VB sep plate.

I second the buying a pan with a drain plug. You can get the cheaper chrome ones off evilbay for under $30 and they work fine (I have one on my 67) or go more expensive with a fancy alum pan but whatever you do I really do suggest swapping out the original pan.
