Welcome. Nice cars!! Bet you spend a lot of time talking to folks at gas stations, etc. admiring your cars. I really like the color on the Galaxie. Sure wish we could all attend a car show in "your neck of the woods!". Ha!

Are those orginal colors on you aircleaner and valve covers???
Looks like pre 64 colors ???

True, Ikea is well know Sweedish brand
and here in Finland, we have Nokia !

Hey Mika,
I don't know if you're talking about the "shade/tint" of the Gold Air Cleaner, and Valve Covers, but Ms. American 3.14159 has Gold A.C, and V.Cs. So Gold IS an original 64 color for Ford Thunderbird Engines.

yes, I know : gold is correct aircleaner + valve covers for 390 engines.
63 colors were Bronze Gold ????
and in 64, Gold colors was same as Champagne Exterior color ????

Here is my "golden" stuff: (wrong valve covers, I know...
those are from 67 Q-code engine, like intake + everything else :O)

Hello everyone, thanks for the warm welcome.

And no I´m not a Troll just haven´t been able to answer you this week.

Domino, here is a couple of pics on the -57. Sorry don´t have many pics on the car and it´s a scandal because I have owend it for 12 years.
It´s a driver not a showcar, it has a 20 year old paintjob that should be redone.

The wheels are Coys with 245/40 20" tires.

I think the gold on the valvecovers and aircleaner is the right color.

And yes the Galaxie actually came in one piece.

Fin svenska där FE. Probably just like my english. Haha

Guess I should put the pics in the Fairlane forum but here it is anyway.
If I´m going to post more Fairlane pics it will be in that forum.
