So many kids these days just don't appreciate much of anything. I wouldn't care what the car was if it was given to me! Of course the Shotrod I had previous contact with and would take no other but if it hadn't i would of taken anything that had wheels and got me somewhere.

I would have taken it! But when your young you don't know better! When I was 17 I could have taken My great uncles 1966 fury 3 that was the typical mint old mans car! But no! me being an IDIOT said naw I'll just keep my 71 pinto! All because it was a 4 door and I didn't think a 4 door fury was cool! Now I would jump at a barn find,freebie,solid car!

It's funny how some things turn out. My dad bought me my '68 Galaxie FB when I was in High School. I'm not sure why I didn't get the family '77 Thunderbird. My Step-dad says that he (in retrospect) should have given me his '56 Ford

. Things are funny that way. My now retired Galaxie sits in my side yard and I drive my '68 XL FB every day. I guess I'm just into these cars. I'm sure if I got the Thunderbird I'd be driving one today, same thing with the '56. That kid probably started out with a beater Civic and now sticks to the imports.
