Anyone have information on trailer towing capacities of galaxies?

In particular, a 1967 (or any mid 60's galaxies)?

We tried Fomoco and they came up empty handed.

289 2bbl, 200hp, 260 tq

UPDATE on rear axle ratio: 3.00:1

What would be a safe range of towing capacity?

I have a 67 Galaxie 500, with a 289 an a c-4 trans. The owners manual says:
Trailer Towing up to 200lbs. actual tongue load. Driver+ Passengers + luggage + actual tongue Load must not exceed full rated (Max.) load. Full rated for sedan & Hardtops(with bench seats) is 1100Lbs. Under neath it says: For heavier tongue loads see your Ford dealer. I have a flat strap(3/4 in. x 2 in.) tow hitch on my car an I pull an 18 foot pontoon boat with a 60 hp. evinrude. It pulls fine no problems pulling it or stopping it. Have had no problems pulling boat in an out of water either. Round trip is approximately 30 miles.

You might tell us what you are wanting to tow. I think others would have some recommendations based on what they have done. Actual specs will be hard to find.
