Thumbs down I'm looking for pictures 63 Galaxie Light Weight

Hi Everyone,
I am looking for interior pictures specifically the door panels rear seat and lightweight Bucket seats of the 63 Galaxie Lightweight. Greg Donahue stated in an article called The Anatomy of a Light Weight on page 3 under Special Components that the car had Special red vinyl Interior with a special red vinyl trim package. It also came with Light beige rubber floor mats Front and Rear. Is this the only floor covering used? if so what color are the floor pans painted?
He also states that the car has a special lightweight Chassis. Could anyone tell me more about this?
I have downloaded allot of pictures and they all have different styles of interior. I know the cars came in only White with red interior and the only difference in the chassis that I am aware of is the wheel stops on the lower A frames..
I am building a 1/25th scale model to enter in a contest and I need theses items to be correct. Also does anyone know if any of the chrome details were eliminated to save on weight? Here is a picture of the page 3 from the article I hope it is readable.
Thank You for all the help you can give me. You can PM me or email me direct at ernie-p@cox.net

I guess you could always save it then open it in your viewer and enlarge it. That is what I had to do so I could read it.
Thak You

I think the front buckets were actually the stock seats out of an Econoline van.

Re: I'm looking for pictures 63 Galaxie Light Weight

The cars were devoid of the creature comforts and had the sound deadener and insulation deleted. My understanding on the chassis is the use of a lighter frame. Some articles claim the lightweight cars utilized the Custom 300 frame because it was lighter. The Galaxies had a boxed frame and the Customs had a channel frame.

Ernie, here are two pictures that might help. I took these at the 2008 Cincinnati Concours d'Elegance. This 1963.5 Lightweight was restored by Red Zone Motorsports in Dayton, Ohio. I have contacted these friendly fellows myself about the 2.5" air filter element which crowns their engine; they would likely help you with your questions.
