This is my '61 Galaxie Victoria Coupe and a couple girls I used to know. Picture was taken about 1979.

Those girls just come from a bra burning?

I need to get a scanner. My Dad had lots of old car pics. He owned mostly Mopars, but he did have a 65 Mustang coupe, and a Torino at one point.

Back then the girls (at least the ones I knew) only wore bras to funerals. Now I'm not surprised to see one wearing a bra with a tube top. Those were the good old days[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

Mine won't let me post pics here either so here are a couple of links.
First is my old 1974 MKl, English assembled GT, V4, Ford Capri. This is one car I really do wish I had hung onto.

Actually, those pictures are of my father racing in the late 60's / early 70's. The '58 Ford was his six cylinder car, while the '57 had a 390 in it.
My favorite story is probably when dad’s engine builder let him borrow a set of tunnel port heads for his 390. Early in the race, he started lapping the other drivers. Just when things were looking good, something broke and one of the axles slipped out. But he didn’t know what happened and, somehow, he managed to go entire lap with only one rear wheel.
