What Song Cranks You Up
Wow, that's weird - they play "Never Again" all of the time here in Sacramento. It's actually been overplayed in my opinion...

Autograph ... "Turn Up the Radio"
Hmmm Maybe,
Grand Funk Railroad ... "We're An American Band"
Or if things are a little more mellow,
almost anything by Robert Cray

My grandson got in his Powerwheels Jeep the other day, cranked the knobs on the dash and hollered "hedin' on the HIGHWAY!". (he has a toy motorcycle that plays part of Born to be Wild when you push the button).
I have a pile of Beach Boys and Jan & Dean tapes in the garage to help me forget it's 27 degrees outside.
Can't put my finger on a specific trigger song right now. There's a bunch. I have been known to put Sammy Hagar or Metallica in the CD player on the way to the track. Or Disco Inferno - depends on my mood!

What Song Cranks You Up
If I tried to list em all, I'd shut FM down with overloading bandwidth.
All I can say is a good song, with a quick tempo, usually some kick ass guitar work, and its on. Whenever Im driving and want to be sure Im NOT speeding, I have to listen to the elevator music station. EVen listening to Classical aint calming enough. Flight of the Valkyires, Flight of the Bumblebee, Beethovens 5th (especially done by Steve Vai), all will get me cruisin into some triple digits.
BTW, Flight of the bumblebee is a great one when your dodging traffic, Actually came on when I was takin my wife to the hospital when she went into Labor. That poor Ranger, sure got beat on pretty hard that night....

When I am cruising I like some CCR, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Doors, Lynyrd Skynyrd, George Thorogood, Jimi Hendrix and some other great classics.
When I want to do some serious driving I listen to Black Label Society, Pantera, Slayer, Ozzy, Corrossion Of Conformity, PumpJack, Black Sabbath, Type O Negative, and most all other Heavy rock not mentioned.
I really like Vinnie and Dime's (from Pantera) new band Damage Plan that just came out!!!!! It Rocks even if it doesent sound like Pantera they have a new killer sound with it.

Man...High School football...before games I would listen to Eye of the Tiger by survivor. That song does something to me!
Sure there are plenty others, but Survivor's eye of the tiger does it best.
