Here is a hood scoop that was used by 2 completly different automakers.

Do you know the uses of this scoop?

I keep thinking 1970 Plymonth GTX when I see the scoop. I kmow it's not it, but it looks similar.

I know of a scoop like that that sits offset and with the opening to the back. It's on a early 70's Ford 2 ton grain truck!

If memory serves me, a truck I drove many moons ago, a 63 Ford F700 bull nose used something close to this as an airbox for the cab...along with the 2-40 Air Conditioning

Ok you guys have part of the answer but,we need the whole answer.[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

This was used by two American Auto makers as factory installed part.

One was Ford and the other was ?.[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]

It was a Ford part originally that was "borrowed" by another detroit automaker?

I know there are guys here that know this....................Im positive Greg Cook knows.[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
