What's with Perf. Auto(rant)

Called them about upgrading my older trans, which has never blown, to a lifetimer. I was told I have to buy it outright with NO trades. Are they that unsure of their older trannies? I was sooooooo pleased to have this & have turned a LOT of people on to them that have purchased their trannies. Might have to go the 'glide route, hate too but the car seems too violent & you'd think someone out there would think their older work was good enough to take a look at... you'd think. I thought highly of them(good service, warranties, craftsmanship) but it seems they are going the way of B&M & TCI...
We've made our money & you not running our trans is no sweat off our...

We just had some problems with them also. Put a PA c-4 behind a 540 inch Chevy in a 69 Camaro. Major run around on the torque comverter. Said it was shipped and lost but never would give us a tracking number. Turns out it was never built after 2 months of calling and hounding them. I told them i run one of thier trannies and my friend would be bringing his back the next day for a full refund for the trans and converter. In 3 days we had the convertyer.

Hate to get technical when someone is enjoying a good rant. Been there myself!!!!!!!
But last year at Fun Ford Dynamic Transmissions had a 2.20 first gear set at their table. Looked interesting to me interms of tempering the violence of a 2.48 first gear in a high HP car.

Didn't know who, but I heard someone was making one. I'm kinda just looking forward to new paint & a 7" cowl. After that we'll see about the 'glide.

I think Dynamic only has a 4 gear planetary with their 2.20 gearset. I like the peace of mind using PA's 6 gear planetary. Personally, I've found PA to be very friendly and helpful. I bought a little over $1200 in parts from them about 2 months ago and was very happy with their service. They will even warranty everthing I bought. They also will warranty the Super Comp I bought even though I converted it to full roller with NO thrust washers at all. All 11 thrusts are rollers now. They will lifetime warranty it even though I heavily modified over what they already had done to it. I wish somebody made an aftermarket main case for C-4s though.

They told me if you do the mods to anything they own they won't honor the warranty! I'm going to replace the planet & servo before I go to a 'glide. Now just to find someone that wants all this crap!

They told me I have to send it back for them to varify the mods were done correctly with proper clearances in order to still have the lifetime warranty and free freshen ups which I will do myself.
