My new times

Hey guys been in an out of the board for awhile,been trying to work out some bugs with my 87 Cougar XR7 aka-lead sled. Earlier this summer I was only able to run a 14.69@93mph. Well I went to the track yesturday(9-22-02) and popped off a 14.16@97mph. I am pretty happy with this cuz I think there is a high 13sec pass in her. The new 5.0 has about 1500 miles if that. I figured for a stock cammed,head and intake 5.0 with a small converter and 3.55s it is not to bad. I think an intake is next maybe a stock Cobra? Who knows I am happy though even though it is only a 14sec. car.

Probably goes a bit faster than my 90 cougar ls with 3.8. I'm happy now that I got the damn thing roadworthy and driveable. Keep goin at it, you are close, and can probably get there soon.

Hey that aint half bad, Im still sittin in 16's with my stang. Luckily out here in the desert we get to race even in december [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] So Im thinkin the cold air will help even more. Cant wait!
