supposidely the 55 had a 454 or 427 i cant remember but i read an article about it. they used 2 or 3 55s to make that movie. the 55 in real life turned 10.90s.

I think I remember reading in Car Craft that the '55 is the same car from Two-Lane Blacktop.

And the '55 in Two Lane definitely had a BBC. In one scene, James Taylor said that it was a 454.

The ford is here in San Diego. I see it once a month at the auto swapmeet.
Over the summer the guy that played John, was at the auto swap selling autographs. I grabed one for like $8-10. Black and white with his head looking out the window, cig. hanging off his lip.[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img]cooler than the Fonz[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img]
