V8 swap in a Comet

I've got a question for you fellas. What all is needed to put a small block V8 into a car that originally has a straight 6?

Here's what my dad and I are going to do. We're putting the original '68 302 that was in my '68 Galaxie into our '62 Comet, which currently has a 170ci engine. I reallize the early Comets had the V8 option, but were the motor mount holes changed over the years? If so, what motor mounts should I get? Also, if anyone's done this before what problems did you run into?

Ohhhhhh yeah! If anyone has some reverse light lenses for a '62 Comet, we need some! Just let me know, and how much you want for 'em.

Thanks

V8 swap in a Comet

This one's been covered pretty well in the Falcon's section. Check the archives. In a nutshell, you'll need motor mount and stands, a V8 radiator and for safety sake convert to V8 front suspension..
