90 model rear quarter glass install

i have a pair of rear quater glasses from a 90 mustang gt that i want to put in my 86lx has anyone done this and know what i should expect or problems i may run into some people say it goes right in and some have told me interior panels won't be right and others have told me there are some holes you have to drill for the new glass?????

90 model rear quarter glass install

The biggest pain is the trim in front of the glass. If you have the trim from the later model, it's not too hard to do, just a long days work yanking off all the interior trim & trying not to break the old glass. It's not a real bad job. Never had to drill any new holes but I always replaced all the old interior trim with the late model stuff.
