Two engines in the 69 XL

After much review of this picture:

The group has determined that I should run two SB vs one BB in this car given how much room i have.

If I go with the two SB should I run these in series of in parallel? I'm thinking I could get the output shaft of the first engine hooked up the balancer of the second quite easily.

What you think?

I know what you need in there.. one of those V-10 Ford engines out of a F-250/350. Also a Powerstroke diesel or an inline 5.9 Cummins diesel would be cool as hell

Why doesn't the Lighting have the V10? Certainly not worried about front end weight. A buddy in high school put a 460 in his 150 4x4. It would flat out scoot (for a truck) with the 1000 lbs less weight.
