I run a tweaked RCI 2950 with a Night Eagle D104. For antenna just a Antron 99 W/Ground plane kit on a 50ft crank up tower.

Played with CB's back in highschool. I was Jumpinford, my buddy was fish stick (has a barracuda), and a few others I dont recall. Now I just carry one when Im road trippin.

If any of you guys ever hear either 711 the Tin Man or 521 NE Texas Mobile talking skip they're buddies of mine. I don't think either gets on anymore though.

Some of the toys I've played with a bit:
RCI 2950
Galaxy 44 &amp; 99

Ranger 2980
Texas Star 1600

Texas Star 667
Custom built mobile amp with 20? - 2SC2879 transistors on an 18 volt setup if my friends Dodge Dually.
Custom built home amp with 2 - 3-500Z tubes driving 4 more 3-500Z tubes. The first part ran off 110 AC and the second off a 220 line. It was hooked to a Moonraker 4 on a 78 foot tower. Now that thing would talk all over the place.

And if any of you guys need some ROHN 25G tower I've got a ton of it along with some NOS and pulled Tubes for you base guys. [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img] I used to play with CB stuff along with a few friends but most of us have got out of it. I just sold a 4CX15000A, 4CX10000D, 4CX5000A, and two 833A tubes in the last week. [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
