Dad's 1966 Mercury Monterey 2 door hardtop.

This is my dads car he purchased for $200. With 34,000 miles on it. It was owned by a little old lady and as you can see in the first pick she had wrecked the front end. Not too bad though but enough to need some new parts. Our cousin let us know of a car he had in Texas and sold us the front cap, trunk, all the chrome and door handles for $250. The only problem was the fender we needed the most has taken a hard hit also and is full of bondo. We are still on the hunt for a fender. It is the only thing we need to get this car going again. If anyone around the heartland area knows where one of these cars is sitting we need a right hand fender. Let me know what you think of this car. I beleive that a Parklane will work but it has to be a 1966 though that is the only year that fits.

i checked on them again as long as it is a full size Mercury for 1966 it will fit. Models are Parklane, Monticlair, S-55 and Colony Park Station Wagons and Commuter Wagons.

I love those things! I had a 'vert with a 428 in it... pass everything but a gas station!
