Wonder what the bill was to put that together?

My guess
3500 in front steering
5500 in the independent rear end
10000 in the engine
2500 wheels and tires
10000 paint job
3000 in the interior

$15K+ for a wrecked 03 Cobra. Unless the owner is a body man or sleeps with one the pricey part is the 2000 Mustang rear floorpans and subframe. More likely than not someone "bought" this car, they didn't build themselves. The only thing they turned on it was the key.

Were any of the original GT350H's manual trannies?

I think the majority of the 65-66 GT350's were all manual trannies. I've only recalled seeing a handfull auto's.

coolfalcon: If those wheels are the current Bullit/GT wheels, which they look like, you can get a set of 4 with tires for $1000. I've seen several vendors advertised in MM&FF selling them for $995.

That is a really sweet car though. If it wasn't for all the wiring, which I suck at elec, I'd think of doing something similar to my 67'. The motor in the 03' Mach 1 would look really sweet with the shaker scoop pocking through the hood.
