Congradulations!

To Matt Kenseth and Robbie Riser and the rest of the Roush Gang for the 2003 Winston Cup Championship.

You said that right. I remember sitting in the stands at Michigan International back in about 95. I struck up a conversation with some guys in front of me that were from Wisconsin(you could tell by the wool smell). They were telling me to watch for this kid by the name of Matt Kenseth. I think they ran regularly at Kaukauna. It's to cool to see him win the big one.

I think Ford has some work to do this winter. The Dodge boys just took over the last half of the season. Evernham got it figured out. Hate to see Mark not get a big one, but Matt held up his end.

Did y'all notice that in Jack Roush's interview how he kept bringing Mark into it....saying stuff like "Mark and I built this team together", "I've learned a ton from Mark", etc? I thought that was pretty classy.

By the way, NASCAR just approved a new high port cylinder head for Ford. Along with a tweaked Taurus nose and rear, I think we'll see quite a difference between 2003 and 2004.

I have noticed that the class end of Roush Racing never points the finger at anyone in house. Atleast, not publicly. The other two, Busch and Biffle, I'm not as impressed with.
I was surprised to hear the booth crew talk, so openly, about the 1990 championship that was taken away from Martin/Roush. Really is a bummer they never got one. But I am very pleased for Kenseth. He kind of reminds me of Elliott of old when he didn't know what to do with all the fame and hoopla.

Definitely the class act around NASCAR. Bush might have a mouth but he races clean, juries out on Biffle.

Which head did they approve?? Is it a high port version of the Yates head?
