lol No, he's the inventor of surf music commonly referred to as "The King of the Surf Guitar". He was around back in the late '50's but he wasn't very big until the early '60's. Check out his website at

It's really funny what he did with a Stratocaster and an amp when they were given to him by Mr. Fender himself to test them out and see what he thought of them. Personally I'm more fond of his early stuff when he had his group the Del-Tones but hearing him today with his newer music is really something else. I wanted to talk to him more but I wasn't sure where to begin! I wanted to ask him what it was like performing with guys like Jimmy Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Johnny Cash. And what the California beach was like back in the '60's during the height of the surf time or whatever you want to call it. I've heard what it's like but I figure hearing it from him would've been even better considering all of the stuff he's experienced in his time.
