Starting motor and tranny for the newest Bird

Picked up my "core" AOD today-paid $75 for what I thought was a rebuildable unit, and come to find that I ended up with a 93 AOD out of a Police Patrol Thunderbird-they even included the Tranny cooler!

So I've started tearing it down-here's what the engine will be:

DSS 331 Shortblock running 10.5:1
FRPP Z304 Heads
FRPP Cobra intake
Edelbrock Tubular exhaust
Crane Powermax 2031 camshaft
Gear drive timing set

And a few other goodies. Nice little winter project.

I'm just curious. What is the differance between the Cobra intake and the GT-40? They look identical.
