Anyone up on trunk mats?

Been thinking about using one to hide the PO's sin instead of knocking myself out trying to fix it. Are the early ones the same as the later ones? Thinking about using the crappy one from my '65 & replace it with a NOS. Think it's close enough for a racer? BTW... I'm bored!

I know that the 67 is not anything like the tail of the 70. Go to Walmart and get a roll of that black auto carpet. It's cheap and you can trim it up easy. Maybe stick some velcro in spots to hold it in. It's real light weight as opposed to the heavy rubber trunk mats.

Get a hobby!

I'm using a stock trunk mat in the Falcon......I kinda want it to look stock-ish in the trunk area..

Why not get one of the cheap repops? They're made with felt backed vinyl. Real durable, yet thin, light weight and looks and fits right.

That's what I have in the '65. Lost points for it & bought a NOS one, I thought with the felt backing & some weatherstrip adheisive would clean it up nicely...

Menard's has some really nice thin black carpet in bulk. Looks real easy to work with.
