Fordmuscle.com members register to check out cars/items for other members?

I would be more than willing I have a pretty decent digital camera and can take as many pics even short 30 sec movies with sound give me a days notice I can go an easy 50 mile radius or so

WEll one idea that may help is that the prospective buyer needs to have a checklist of sorts. When Chris had me and Larry lookin at that Merc, he sent me a list of **** I wouldnt have thought about. Get a complete list of places on the vehicle youd want scrutinized, and youd be much better off. Maybe even a set of guidelines or general observations form the great Greg Cook would help.

Believe me, its hard trying to see a vehicle through someone elses eyes, but with enough communication, and maybe even a cell phone to talk to the buyer while your lookin at the car can help to eliminate differences in standards and skill.

Oh and I'd like to add that I'm also in. I had a blast goin over that Merc, and I'd be more than happy to do it again for anybody here.

I love the idea. And I like what 70'sFords said about a checklist. I wouldn't be of any help as far as knowing what to look for but my Brother-in-law is better. Also having the cell phone along would help greatly. And Jimmy's66 isn't too far from me. I'm sure he would be better than me.

Count me in too. I think it's a great idea. I'm in Fort Branch, Indiana; about 20 miles from Evansville, IN. I could cover southern Indiana or any place within about 100 mile radius.
I've got a digital camera for getting picts too. I'm no expert either, but you give me a list of critical areas to look at, I can get pictures.

Maybe we could have a map of the USA and Canada and have little stars with the location of the FM members in the "checker" list?


You could click on the "FM car checker" link and the map would come up showing where the members live compared to where the car is you want them to look at?

I'm sure the computer guys here will come up with a good plan for it....
