stupid 18 yr. old hit my mach on the 1st real test drive!!!

You need to give them a call and tell them that they need to pay the entire cost of full repair. If they say no, tell them that they will hear from your lawyer. Then, go find a sleazball lawyer who will drag them through the mud. If they won't meet your needs, you are just wasting your time talking to them. If you are happy with 80% then take it. Remember, they are just trying to minimize their pay-out. They don't have YOUR best interest in mind, they are just looking out for their bottom line. It's their job. Most people just take it in the rear.

If you do get a lawyer, get one that works on contingency, that way they will work harder to win.

Olie, I can't believe the similarities - I don't know if you recall, but last summer I took my car out for the first time after spending the day putting in a new exhaust system, and some kid (drunk in his moms car) rear ended me and just smashed the whole rear of my car. What is it with new exhaust systems?

Anyway, are you working with your own insurance company too? I think they can/should also help you out in making sure you get everything coming to you from the other insurer. You shouldn't spend a cent on this Olie - the way I look at these things is, before you met that dip****, you had a car with no dents and matching paint, a neck that didn't hurt, and all the time you're spending on getting this fixed and straightened out was still free to do other things with. He took all of that, and he needs to pay for all of it and make you completely whole. And that's why he has insurance.

Don't worry about pissing his insurance company off, let them know they can't push you around.

It's you who should be pissed!

It might be a good idea to get an estimate from a shop that specializes in classic mustang restoration, they should know where to look for classic replacement parts. Get an estimate before accepting any insurance company offers, the cost may be higher than you think.

If you do get a lawyer, the price goes up, to cover the cost of the lawyer (25% to 33% of the total settlement).

i hear a lawyer will hear your case before he takes it on. however i don't have any money.

do you think if i get a lawyer and i piss of the insurance company, do you think they will lower the 80%?

i will call up a attorney tomorrow. oh by the way, my insurance company said i am NOT at fault. so i am assuming that the other driver cannot get any money from my insurance company. thats prolly why this stupid ass bull****ed so his insurance will help at least some.

oh hey 78, i have a 73 and i need a bumper, i am in california. i'll pay shipping. the bodyshop will actually pay you and deal with you. pm me please.
