Raised (or is it lifted?) Trucks

There's no end here in hillbilly land! I love it when someone buys a fo by & raises it high enough not to clear an underpass & bitches when it snows! Oooo my truck is dirty... no I never get it off-road, I just like the look

That Dodge sure is a cute little bugger =)

As for the 'mall crawlers' you see on the highway..as with anything else automotive that is form over function, it is a bit annoying to witness.

Before I get in trouble with the "hillbilly' comment, I own a '76 F250 with swapped Dana60/Dana70, 5" lift, 38.5" Swampers...just bought 4.88s and front and rear lockers. It's about as "deliverance" as they get. I too don't understand guys putting 10" lifts on new super duty's....but as long as they're happy and provide a reason for manufacturers to keep making parts, I'm all for them.

Chrissy...Is it true that you got your truck stuck in some grass at one time or another?

Yes that is just a huge waste of money from what i think, that is the 10 & up inch lifts. Then everything cromed underneath. And they take there wifes car when it snows or rains. What the **** people, use a truck for what its meant for. A truck. I mean try and go off the pavement and you will rock wildely and or be such a rough fin ride that you need a kidney belt. My dad has a 01 f250 deisel with 6" lift and 37's and we take it to some places jeeps dont even go. And that while hunting. But its so damn long crew cab and 8' bed that theres "mexican pinstripes" all down the side.
Wowo i got to vent a bit. that was nice.

I didn't see any lifted trucks on my commute today . It was raining. Guess those guys don't drive 'em in the the wet.

I feel the same way. If you're afraid to haul anything in your truck or take it off-road if it's a 4 wheeler, buy a car. Around here the all show-no go Highrider craze has kinda died off. Lowrider pickups are the 'in' thing with the kidz for the moment...
