doesn't look to bad, i know right now i'm not actually able to buy a car, nor would it be a wise move, but that doesn't mean i can't look. does anybody have any advice on buying a car on ebay?? i've never done it, so i'm wondering if i should keep looking on ebay, or just get one locally in a couple of months

this one doesn't seem too bad either

If you don't mind being patient looking for a home for the 347, wait for a nice '87-'93 notch or hatch 4cyl LX to be for sale with a blown up tranny or engine. You can buy them for $200-$600 for super nice straight solid cars with nice interior and paint. Just keep looking and be patient. Auto Trader or local papers like Bargain Post will have them. The are in Texas and Oklahoma EVERYWHERE! Cheap and nice Then you'll have a nice car to build for your 347

The pennysaver here is just full of low priced cars this week compared to usual anyway.
A '89 Escort for parts $350 says does not run, a '73 Maverick 6cyl w/factory air and a parts car to go with it $500 and not sure on this one but a 66 Falcon, needs paint, neutral safety switch and interior $1500. Must be a typo, 289 V6? Maybe its the rare 289 V6 that makes it this price. '84 crown vic $1000. 88 Mustang, rebuilt engine, needs work $1000 OBO. That's it for the Ford dept. I usually don't see much in here in the Ford area.

The Thrifty Nickle here had an ad for the longest time that read "78 Thunderbird, 289..." Don't know if it sold or they gave up.
