One less 1964 Galaxie on the road :o(

My uncles' 1964 Galaxie 500 got plowed into while it was parked on the side of the road. Here is a link to some before and after pictures:

Looks more like demo work rather than Nascar. That is so sad. Hope the people were at least law abiding. Not that it would make me feel any better if it were mine.

Im not ragging on you or your Uncle, but out of sheer disgust, I must ask...why in the hell would anyone park a classic car on the street?? With the way people drive nowadays, they dont care about anyone elses property. They will slam into your car and not think twice about it. When it happens to be something thats not easily replaced (like a classic) I tend to be more upset than I would be if it were just a Toyota or something. Of course, Im upset FOR you guys, not at you! That just ticks me off
Let me guess, it was either a ricer, a big SUV, or someone talking on a cell phone while flying down the road?

That would make me just sick at my stomach.

I'm sorry to hear about what happened.

I hope that the car is fixed up and on the road in no time!

Ouch!!

If it's gonna be repaired shoot me an email/PM for parts. I have several pieces needed to repair it. I know for sure I've got the trunk lid, hood, core support, front fenders, and I've got a rear clip off a sedan that could be grafted on the back if the area from the wheel arch forward is repairable.
