A guy I have known for 15 years has this truck, '83 F-150. Well, it's been "broke down" for years so he sells it to me for $200! The "mechanic" that he had working on it told him the "computer brain" was bad & at $100 he could fix it cheaper. Points & no ballast resistor [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img] It also leaked oil until the tail pipe OD was 4", has no muffler, bypassed heater core... the list goes on & on. Please guys, unless you want am "A" hole like me to buy your crap & make about a thou on it, take it to a reputable shop & keep up the maintainance, I can't buy them all [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif[/img] BTW it now has a Duraspark & runs pretty well for a variable venturi truck [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img]
